Privacy Policy

The short version
- Block Beat doesn't collect, sell or share your personal data.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no in-app purchases.
- Your progress is saved on your iPhone, and nowhere else.
- Game Center is optional and run by Apple.
Who we are
Block Beat is a puzzle game for iPhone ("Block Beat", "we", "us"). This policy covers the Block Beat app and the website at block-beat.com. Questions: support@block-beat.com.
What the app stores, and where
Everything the game needs is stored locally on your device, in the app's own storage:

Deleting the app deletes this data. We don't run servers that store player data, and we can't see or recover your progress.
Game Center (optional)
If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Apple handles your Game Center identity. Block Beat uses it to submit your scores to leaderboards and to show friends' scores in your league. That data is processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Block Beat doesn't store it anywhere else.
Challenge links
When you share a challenge, the link contains your run: which puzzle it was, the moves you made, and your Game Center display name if you're signed in. It's only sent where you choose to send it. When someone opens a link on this website, the page decodes it in their browser. The link itself is part of the web address, so, like any web request, it may appear in our hosting provider's standard server logs.
The website
block-beat.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain. Our hosting provider keeps routine server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability, for a limited time. We don't use them to identify you.
Things we don't do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers (IDFA).
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that send data to us or third parties.
- No selling or sharing of personal data, and no tracking across apps or websites.
- No account, email or phone number required.
Children
Block Beat is suitable for all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we'll delete it.
Contacting us
If you email support, we'll use your message and email address only to reply to you, and delete them when they're no longer needed.
Your rights
Because we don't hold personal data about players, there's usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Your data is on your device and you control it. If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, just ask.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
